The Ugandan Embassy in Moscow has marked the African Day by cooking Ugandan dishes which included pilawo, chapati, firinda and groundnut paste mixed with smoked meat. The Mission staff also showcased some Ugandan traditional wear. This Year¡¯s celebrations took place in Hotel Baltschug Kempinski on May 25, 2015 and were attended by all African countries represented in the Russian Federation. Speeches by the Host President, H.E. Vladimir Putin and the AU Chair Mrs. Nkosazana Dilamin Zuma were read in which they retaliated Russian commitment to African development and highlighted AU vision for the future, respectively.
