H.E Amb. Johnson Agara OLWA meets Ms Ekaterina LEBEDEVA ,the Vice President of the Saint Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry today .
St. Petersburg is an industrial city with a lot of prospects for collaboration between the two business communities.
H.E Amb. OLWA and Ms LEBEDEVA discussed possible areas of collaboration with Uganda highlighting the priority as ; Agriculture, Tourism , Infrastructure Development, Oil, Gas and Mineral Development and Education .
Ms LEBEDEVA in her remarks mentioned that the Chamber of Commerce of St. Petersburg has a membership of 4000 companies and is the oldest Chamber of Commerce in the Russian Federation . The areas of collaboration could include; Pharmaceuticals, ICT, Food Processing and Education.
H. E Amb. OLWA and MS LEBEDEVA agreed to organise a business forum in the nearest future in St. Petersburg and share information on the potential areas of cooperation .
