His Excellency Johnson Agara OLWA, the Ambassador of the Republic of Uganda to the Russian Federation signed the Agreement of Cooperation between the Uganda National Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Bryansk Region. 
Ambassador Olwa signed the Agreement on behalf of Mrs Olive Kigongo Zaitun , the President of the UNCCI.

The officials of Ural Association of Tourism to visit Uganda.

The officials of Ural Association of Tourism  agree to visit Uganda at the invitation of His Excellency Johnson Agara OLWA, the Ambassador of Uganda in the Russian Federation.

The delegation from Product Group  JSC, a Russian company dealing in coffee and cacao arrived in Uganda on the 9th November 2021 to meet stakeholders in the coffee and cacao sector. The company is interested in buying coffee and cacao directly from Uganda.

The Embassy of the Republic of Uganda in Moscow celebrated the 59th Independence Day on Monday, 11th October 2021.

The Deputy Speaker of Parliament of Uganda, Rt. Hon. Anita Annet Among was the Chief Guest at the event. She was joined by six other visiting Members of Parliament and officials of the Parliament of Uganda. Following the celebrations, the visiting delegation attended the Third Eurasian Women's Forum in St Petersburg which took place from 13th to 15th October, 2021.

The meeting was purposed to strengthen cooperation between Uganda and Russia in the Education sector . The Medical University is one of the best in the Russian Federation and is ready to cooperate with Uganda  by signing a memorandum of Understating with one of the universities in Uganda . This will facilitate joint projects in research , student and lecture exchanges among others.

Don State Technical University ( DSTU) ready to cooperate with Uganda

Voronezh State Agricultural University ready to escalate relations with Uganda

 H.E Johnson Agara Olwa , the Ambassador of Uganda in the Russian Federation visited Voronezh State Agricultural University to discuss and initiation cooperation between the University and the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries  of Uganda.
The University  is already collaborating  with Mountain of the Moon University in Uganda and is open to strengthen relations .

The Ambassador visited the farm while he was in Voronezh Region in Russia for official visit. EkoNivaAgro was established in March 2002. The main area of activity is dairy farming; however, the enterprise is also engaged in growing cereal, pulse, fodder, profitable industrial crops as well as seed production.
EkoNivaAgro operates on the territory of Liski, Kamenka, Bobrov, Kashira, Anna, Buturlinovka and Talovo districts of Voronezh oblast. The total agricultural land area is 147,000 ha.

The company's electrical equipment is used in the  industrial sector, pharmaceutical industry , oil and gas sector , nuclear sector among others. The company is considering doing business with Africa and the possibility of building a plant in East Africa

STANDARD PROCEDURES FOR THE RETURN Of UGANDANS STRANDED IN THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

As you might already be aware, Ugandans stranded abroad due to the closure of Entebbe Airport and of the borders following the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic are to start going home in a safe and orderly manner. 
A list of guidelines has been attached to this communication to enable those concerned comply with the requirements, by way of Standard Procedures, with regard to those planning to return to Uganda.
