Uganda Embassy Moscow, Connect Ug, and Komsomolskaya Pravda, one of the largest media houses in Russia, today launched the ‘Uganda Coffee and the world’ in Moscow.
The event was graced by the Director of information of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, business persons, media representatives and the public.
The coffee launch is aimed at expanding the market for Uganda’s coffee in the Russian Federation, a response to the July 2023 Presidential directive during the Russia-Africa summit of attracting investors to add value to Ugandan products for increased yields.
The Ambassador and the Connect Uganda team held a press conference and two radio talk shows at the media house enlightening the uniqueness of the organically grown Uganda’s Arabica and Robusta Coffee.
