The meeting was a sideline meeting during the 4th Eurasian Women Forum that was held between 18th to 20th September 2024 in St.Petersburg, Russia.

During discussions, H.E. Alupo conveyed warm greetings from H.E President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, the Government and the people of Uganda. She appreciated the Eurasian Women’s forum for the platform through which women and many pertinent issues are being discussed

During the meeting, the duo agreed on the need to cooperate more in areas of Tourism, trade and investment, establish an Air link, continued cooperation in health sector, Education, Inter-parliamentary cooperation, strengthen dialogue between political parties, Strengthen cooperation among regions and municipalities and Ugandan cities, Cooperation in peace and security, Cooperation in technological transfers, youth and cultural exchanges between Ugandan communities that those of the Russian Federation.
