Ugandan Artists Paul Akiiki and Samuel Kakaire are exhibiting their art in Moscow. Samuel Kakaire is a Russian trained artist who last visited Russia in 1989. The duo are holding a sole art exhibition in Moscow for the first time Uganda under the theme ‘bridging cultural gaps between Uganda and Russian through art’. The artists have received tremendous recognition for their beautiful and creative art work here. The art exhibition is to run up to 12th July 2024

The officers graduated from different Military fields to include Masters degree in military science and strategic management this June 2024.

Russian Tourism Forum is one of the most influential events in the tourism industry and showcases the tourism potential of countries around the world. Uganda was the only African country that showcased her tourism potential. The Uganda delegation was led by Hon. Martin Mugarra Bahinduka the Minister of State for Tourism accompanied by Mr. Vivian Lyazi the Commissioner for Tourism development.
On May 21, 2024,H.E. Moses Kawaaluuko Kizige, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uganda to the Russian Federation held a meeting was Hon.Olga.Yu. Guseva the Minister of International and Interregional Relations of the Nizhny Novgorod Region .The duo discussed issues related to mutual cooperation between the Republic of Uganda and Nizhny Novgorod. These to include in research and scientific findings, trade and investmment, tourism,education and Agriculture..
