Amb. Moses K. Kizige the Head of Mission today met with Mr. Maxim Shilov, the Event Director and Mr. Artyom Demchenko, GR Specialist of the MITT travel show at the Chancery.

Their discussions were centered on Uganda’s participation in the upcoming MITT Travel show in March, 2025 in Moscow.

MITT is an international platform for countries, regions and companies from Russia and the world to present their travel & hospitality products and services on the Russian market. The event has been held annually in Moscow for the last 31 years.

MITT offers exhibitors and visitors a unique opportunity to meet representatives of global travel associations and industry regulators, to find new clients and partners, and to explore latest trends in the travel & hospitality business.

In the previous year’s Ugandan tour companies and exhibitors have been participating which has increased the number Russian tourists to Uganda.

Uganda’s Embassy in Moscow, will avail the necessary support to Ugandan tour operators who will participate in the event.
