H.E. Moses K.Kizige presented copies of his credentials to the Deputy Minister of Tbilisi,Georgia.

On December 19, 2023, H.E. Moses K.Kizige presented copies of his credentials to the deputy Minister  in Tbilisi,Georgia.  The other Ambassadors who presented were from Peru, Honduras, Bangladesh, Zambia, Burkina faso, Cameroon, Malta, Canada,Guinea, Sierra leano, India, Slovenia and Indonesia. During the meeting, the parties discussed the issues in the agenda of bilateral relations and prospects for future cooperation. Cooperation within international organizations was noted with satisfaction.

Uganda Embassy Moscow, launches Uganda Coffee the World in Moscow

Uganda Embassy Moscow, Connect Ug, and Komsomolskaya Pravda, one of the largest media houses in Russia, today launched the ‘Uganda Coffee and the world’ in Moscow.
The event was graced by the Director of information of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, business persons, media representatives and the public.

The Head of Mission had a working visit to the Arkhangelsk Region between 28th and 30th November 2023.
H.E the Ambassador, held meetings with the H.E. Aleksandr Tsybulskii, Mr. Aleksey Alsufev, The Chairman of the Government, Acting the Minister of Trade and the Chamber of Commerce, Rectors of the North Arctic Federal University and North State Medical University. He also visited to the Arkhangelsk Museum and the paper and pulp company.

AMB. MOSES K. KIZIGE OFFICIATES AT THE 18TH INTER-REGIONAL FORUM AT TULA STATE UNIVERISTY ON 24TH NOVEMBER 2023

Tula State University was founded in 1930 and offers its international candidates a wide range of educational programs in engineering, civil engineering, computer science, natural sciences, economic, law, humanities, and medical fields. Those who don’t speak Russian are offered to take a pre-university course of Russian which is provided.
The University has over187 foreign students from 22 countries of Africa and others from 70 countries around the world.

The Head of Mission had a working visit to Tula Region from 6th and 9th of November 2023. The Ambassador was accompanied by Amb. Gideon Mwebaze Rutazindwa,
The Ambassador held meetings with Mr. Vyacheslav Fedorishchev, First Deputy Governor and Chairman of Tula Region, the Minister of Economics, the Minister of Trade and the Minister for Agriculture and members of the Chamber of Commerce.
He also visited Tula State University, the Kremlin, Tulskaya Poultry Farm, ServicesSoft Engineering LLC, Patriot park, Promet-SEZ LLC, Agrogrib LLC and the Tula State Arms Museum.

61st YEARS OF UGANDA’S INDEPENDENCE CELEBRATIONS IN MOSCOW.

On 9th October 1962, direct British rule of the Uganda Protectorate ended with the Uganda Independence Act, which granted independence of the protectorate under the name Uganda. In 1963, Uganda adopted a new constitution which abolished the links with the British monarchy. On 15th September 2023, the Ambassador designate presented his credentials and the recall letters of his predecessor Amb. Johnson Agara Alwa to H.E. Maia Sandu the President of Moldova. The Ambassador was in company of Ms. Georgina Nakawombe, the first Secretary of the Embassy. After her welcoming remarks, Her Excellency the President informed the Ambassador on the relevance of the bilateral relations between states for the development of their people and for regional and international peace and security.
