His Excellency Moses K. Kizige, the Ambassador of the Republic of Uganda to the Russian Federation was in Orel Region on a two day official visit . 

He held talks with Mr Andrei Kychkov, Governor  of Orel , Ms Kovaleva Svetlana Aleksandrovna,  the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Orel, representatives of enterprises and  the Rector of Orel State University .

The discussions focused on cooperation development in the areas of trade, investment, toursim and  education.

The Embassy will host the second Uganda Expo in Moscow in May 2023 . This will be an avenue for Ugandan enterprises to dialogue with Russian enterprises on partnerships and business development.

Russia will host the second Russia -Africa Summit in July 2023 in St Petersburg.
