The meeting was a sideline meeting during the 4th Eurasian Women Forum that was held between 18th to 20th September 2024 in St. Petersburg.

Her Excellency, the Vice President informed the Chairperson of Uganda's pursuance of a transformative agenda to lift her people out of poverty and expand opportunities for prosperity and is therefore deepening her cooperation with friendly partners like the Republic of Belarus to achieve this agenda. 

During the meeting, the duo agreed to enhance cooperation in technological transfers particularly in Agriculture, Agro processing and motor vehicle industry development, mainly, between Minsk Automobile Plant (MAZ) and Uganda Kira motors, which is Uganda's pioneer electric buses manufacturing company.

Training Ugandan Agricultural specialists in Belarus through scholarships and exchange programs, cooperation in ensuring food security and clean energy, strengthen cooperation among regions and municipalities, as Uganda’s Urban communities are growing which has resulted into a growth of a number of cities and municipalities whose cooperation with Belarusian cities is highly recommended through twinning programs. and encourage promotion of people-to-people contacts by encouraging, people youth and cultural exchanges.
